Industrial Designer 2018 - 2021

  • Lead designer on Magsafe Product line that sold out on launch

  • Lead Designer on new Popcase product line (created 10 different phone cases with multiple sku variants in 6 months)

  • Created PopMounts2 product line which created $500,000 in revenue in 6 months

  • Delivered 3D models, drawings, and renders

  • Facilitated work sessions with product teams and users to define key design goals and requirements

  • Conducted user research to inform, iterate, and validate the product design using methods such as field observations, interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, and remote usability testing

  • Worked closely with Mechanical Engineering to ensure parts meet manufacturing and cost requirements

  • Created prototypes early and often Interface closely with Product Management to define new product features and priorities while generating supporting reference documentation

  • Coordinated with our CMF (Colors, Materials, Finishes) team

  • Worked with our manufacturing partners to ensure our designs become realities (including Traveling to Manufacturers in China to give feedback directly)

Native Design - Industrial Design Contractor July - August 2018

  • worked with team to design the Illumina NextSeq 1000 and 2000 which won a red dot award in 2021

  • Created renders and animations of nextseq genomic sequencing machine

HTC - Industrial Designer 2016 - 2018

  • Executed design concepts in 3D for phone and IoT projects

  • Visualized CMF implementation, worked with engineering team to visualize the UX and other innovative technologies

  • Lead projects to further explore potential future products and technologies

  • Produced product specs to be released to mockup and manufacturing vendors in 2D

  • Worked with the team to develop creative and unique process to handle the CMF and materials to make our devices stand out among it’s competition

  • Created cleanly surfaced CAD models and high quality renders for conferences and presentations

  • Contributed to phone designs released in 2018 and 2019 (specifically the htc U12+)
